I'm using XP pro + SP2.....
I think OE6 limits the choice of encoding.  That's MS for you.  That's why I 
described the letters as well - I knew someone's system would throw a 
wobbler... ;-)

And as for Dobbin's fractions - well I know that they do not survive 
GroupWize at work either, they end up as "?"
