It's surprising just how much you can get away with. James Loader -
BCN Tug - was with us for one cruise up the river. The water got
close, but never over the gunnel. I also have a low air vent for the
SR3, and while very occasionally water does splash in, it is often a
pleasure craft, or freely running tug that has caused it!

Excellent - when my sister and I went on a Thames trip boat the
Waterman giving the commentary mentioned he had only seen the bridge
go up a couple of times in 10 years! I think he should go boating
more!!
