Jane had expressed concern about manoeuvring in such confined space. I have been looking for any idea of the correct or orthodox mooring at this location on the pontoon style moorings.
I have come across this 360 degree panoramic picture of the basin which might help Jane. I stand corrected on the stern to mooring. I guess it don't matter what end you put hard in! I have seen more stern on than bow on when I have visited Stratford and the last two moorings of 50 foot plus boats (both hirers) that I watched on Friday afternoon decided to moor stern first matching the majority of the boats already there. The photographs I have since managed to find seem to have more bow on moorings ! http://www.britain360.co.uk/viewPano.php?id=35 Trevor [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
