Why don't we set a few hares running? For example: how many managers in BW pre-date Robin Evans, and how many know anything about boating? Or: is the rotten gate (recently 'broken by a boater' at Wootton Rivers) the only sign of dereliction of maintenance duty on the waterways? Or: should people who've never boated before be permitted to take out their brand new boats on the canal without some tuition? Or: Why is it that I find it increasingly difficult to park in many places near the canal nowadays due to parked cars, only to find several 'resident' boats illegally moored just round the bend out of sight of the road?
