The thing is, you can have people who are good at the job that needs doing AND interested and informed about boating!
I've been boating for 20 years, all my life, and spend most of my free time on the boat or canal forums/groups. Working our boat though the contry, spending weekends on other peoples boats. Including other steam boats, hire boats, power boats, motor butty pairs, the lot. - But at the same time, im at uni becoming a mechanical engineer. Obvously im only half way though uni as yet, but surly im not the only person (other the way to being) qualified in engineer/managment/ h&s whos interested in and sympathetic to canals? Daniel
