I know that a bit like asking how long is a piece of string but I would be interested to hear why people have fitted new engines to their boats and how the job went.
For example if you changed your engine how many hours did it have on it. Was the decision to change brought about by a catastrophic failure, other shortcomings or just on the number of hours run ? Was the engine changeover a simple process and how long did it take Were there issues with aligning the new engine and matching it to the gearbox and prop combination. Were you able to sell the old engine ? and did you get much for it ? Regards Terry Rigden
