We had that happen once with our old dog, Bosley. Someone stepped on his 
tail and made the end bleed. As with Magic, the tail then wagged happily and 
sprayed the interior of the boat. Be warned, it takes a long time to heal 
completely and until it is completely better, the scab can be knocked off 
and bleeding recommences! Please give Magic a pat from me, and Portia sends 
doggy greetings too.
