After being a huge Norton's fan and having been saved by it in the past. I have now reluctantly at first tried AVG at my son's suggestion. I didn't like the lack of a good pop up blocker and this was infuriating me as Windows Pop Up Blocker seems to assist website advertisers more than hinder them! Because I use my PC and Laptop for business purposes I always purchase a paid for licence. AVG offered a licence that allows up to three systems to be subscribed. That with a hard back up install disc (arriving by mail shortly) set me back around £60 for two years worth of updating and gave me a very alert firewall and superb pop up blocking. My system now boots more quickly and operates without any lag save for the email scanning. Oh and Trojans and viruses that were hiding from Norton's were found by AVG on its first sweep. On the whole very pleased. Trevor
