While I support your attitude, Brian, until Mozilla & Co can ABSOLUTELY
guarantee that Firefox [which IS my default browser] will correctly display
sites that are written specifically for IE, I will continue to have both
installed on my computers.

Microsoft sites especially will not run properly on Firefox, more's the
pity.  Also, I'm not aware of anyway to install Windows, any flavour,
without also installing IE.

Arthur and succeeding posters are correct: Norton suite is the pits, and
McAfee isn't far behind them, in my not so humble opinion.  I have very
successfully used both AVG [Grisoft] and Avast! in the past, and I will
continue to do so.
