If you log on to www.tesco.com and register with them you can do your
shopping online and have it delivered to and waiting for you at the
boatyard as you arrive - this does save quite a bit of fuss ie do we go
shopping and load it in the car or collect the boat and then go
shopping, thus if you only have a short break it would get you off to a
quick start.
A nice trip from Rugby is up the Ashby canal, very rural with no locks
but shallow and as a consequence a bit slow. A fair number of pubs
waterside or within a short walk.
