Or maybe *slightly* longer days travelling at a lower speed ;-) (as per "Experience with new boaters" thread.) Seriously, I would agree that 10 hour days are quite ambitious for first timers. I have found that 7 hours or so is generally plenty for anyone new to canals. Steve NB Bream
