A lurker who wants a say!

Sizism is the same as CC`s, as long as it is not you who are
suffering then the blame is theirs. The one thing that really gets to
me is the me, me , me way you look at things. Seen a boat moored for
more than 14 days....crush the boat, it has NO Rights to be there.
But then a boat that has a wide beam, here`s the maths to say it`s
not right to charge more. Everything that you say is everything that
BW or any employer (not that I`m saying you are in anyway involved
with BW ) wants to hear, because instead of looking into the best way
that WE all can go forward, you divide everyone with misdirection.
What is needed on the waterways is the one thing that is
missing....to be together in what we DON`T want. Don`t say that it
can never happen, Maggie got her just rewards for the poll tax, we
can also get our just rewards for the waterways if we are as one in
one thing.....the waterways, not in our own little beefs, this lock
was slow, this mooring had no rings, the grass was to long here, each
time your own big problem is brought forward, the big picture is made
smaller. Just how they want it, divide people, then we can do
anything we want because everyone is pulling in a different direction
and will blame the others for the new rules. You`ve rattled on about
CC`s and now they are thinking ( hic ) about charging for honey pot
moorings to stop the CC`s from over staying.....great move.... now
you, who have paid your marina moorings, have now to pay to moor at a
place that was paid for by your licence fee, before your
moaning....great job.
Each time that we want something to be fair, then our own selfness
becomes the top of the list thing to shout about. This waterway
system has been going for 200years or more, it was on the brink of
collapse but for a few who did`nt think of me, me, me. We are now
going through a time when we all should be looking to the future of
the waterways, not the short sighted me, me, me way.
£50 is not a a large amount to put towards the maintance of the
waterways, Fight to have the charges for broad beam dropped by all
means, then give the £50 to a place you know the money will be spent
on the waterways.
I will now vacate my soap box
