I think you do *most people* an injustice. Many people might consider 
it unfair if their view and benefit are not fulfilled to their 
complete satisfaction but surely, many, many people have an innate 
sense of fairness when they look at the overall picture. When the 
picture is so muddied with differing facets, as this argument is, 
then it is difficult to support one view of fair (or unfair) without 
branding other views as unfair (or fair). This is not a black and 
white case unfortunately. It is not necessarily true (to use a couple 
of points as an illustration) that if you do not support massive 
increases in CCer's payments (ie you consider them unfair) that you 
automatically support (ie you consider them fair) modest increases in 
wide/broad beam charges.
