Nothing in the planning application, or in the discussion here, or in the magazines suggests that this is the only affordable solution. This is a highly visible location that deserves better than a bog-standard chalet plonked down on a crude steel frame, and, unlike the present structure, bearing no relationship to the sluice chamber below. LANT could and should do better. I have submitted a letter of objection to Wychavon. David Mack
