I have Orange Mobile Broadband which I hoped would work in Llangollen where
we are wintering. Sadly no go, only GPRS. So, with lavish unconcern I went
out and bought a "3" dongle with 12Mb usage over 12 months for 99.99 GBP.
This is much better here.
Talking to another boater who has "3" she is very pleased with the coverage
in Llangollen and elsewhere. I suspect that although Orange still seems to
have the best coverage for phones they are not keeping there lead with 3G.
As far as customer service goes, Orange is based in the UK but always manage
to give the impression that they don't really give a damn. Three, based in
India, are helpful but the accent and the poor quality of the calls
sometimes makes it difficult for me to understand.
