At the end of the day it's up to those individuals with GPS enabled phones that'll run the software to sign up for the service. If they do, then to some extent it's their lookout!
Quite WHY anybody would do so is beyond me (and probably most people over 21)! I suppose when cruising the canals it might give you advanced warning that a friend is nearby, but then you'll either see their boat or you won't. For the kids "cruising" the bars in town, I can see some point. Personally, I won't be signing up - so if anyone wants to know where I am you'll have to ask me! Glen
