One of the Middle Eastern countries once held a competition to  brew a beer 
that could be legally described as 'non-alcoholic' so that it  could be sold in 
Muslim countries. ISTRT Theakstons won it with a new  recipe, but Watneys Red 
(a later version of the original highly-ridiculed  fizz) was close to passing 
the test without a new recipe being  needed.
