We gave up chasing milk floats when one bugger near London charged a commission 
for delivery that was more than the cost of the milk - this after the wife had 
chased him 500 yards yelling for him to stop. (I stayed staunchly at the 
tiller!)

I remember looking out for milk floats crossing bridges, and then
