Surely the last of these is an option we should support. Its not so log ago that we won the fight for extra charges to be removed at places like Standedge Tunnel and the Anderton Lift. The incremental cost on the licence was in the order of a pound, as I recall. If its a service BW need to provide to allow boats to use the system then it should be part of the licence fee. (This is definitely not a vested interest, I'm speaking as someone who would not use Limehouse Lock if THEY paid ME - I don't do bumpy water - but I'm happy to support those who do.) Steve NB Bream
