Hello everyone, we are cruising on the Huddersfield Narrow and Broad canals. We will be going onto the Calder & Hebble Navigation. The Nicholson guide warns that if you miss the entrance to Ledgard Bridge Flood lock . A large weir awaits. The same applies to Shepley Bridge Lock and Greenwood flood lock. Which is the best way to approach these locks and what should we be looking for. Indeed any advice on the navigation between Huddersfield and Leeds would be greatly appreciated.
