Mmmm. I was wanting to stop at Upton long enough to just pick someone up the other year during the festival, and not one of the miserable b's would let us get close. Eventually a bystander was so outraged at their behaviour he volunteered to let us use his private landing stage a quarter of a mile upstream. I have to say the lack of basic courtesy, let alone the lack of friendliness which we experienced that day has put us off actually going to the Festival. But maybe I just caught people on a bad day?

Just pick a likely boat and go alongside, even cruisers will move if you look determined enough. Sue ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
