I saw the other weekend an old RN running on pure old engine oil, the
only sob to using it was two very large switchable filters. The owner
said that was all they use now, its so cheap (profitable), they had an
arrangement with several local garages. They had done no other
modifications, to the engine. Oh it wasn't in a boat it was powering a
farms small generator, which ran 24/7.
