errr...I thought we were talking about pleasure craft using the Tidal Bow
Back Rivers?
Boats going out of Bow Lock(s) and doing the Tidal Bow Back Rivers will now
have to have VHF if over 13.7m and give a route plan and timings to London
VTS.
There will ne no commercial traffic after the olympics....infact will there
ever be any?
The whole thing will be another of BW's white elephants, designed to make
some pretty standing water for the olympic site and to kick start property
development, another case of doing what their masters told them to do.

Where did the funding for Prescott Lock come form?
http://www.britishwaterways.net/media/documents/Board_Minutes_March_2008.pdf
Nearly £2.5 million have come out of BW's own funds, £1.91 million out of
operational rescorces that could have been used to maintain the waterways,
which I thought was BW's job.
