Blame the people who can't be bothered to vote.

The people who don't vote are voting, but with their feet.

What is the incentive to vote?

There is none at the moment. All the parties have lost the plot in one way or
another.

As for as I can see, nothing seems to be done at schools level, as it was in
the good old days, when you use to be taught something about politics. But the
parents yest it comes back to them, who have no interest no idea about our
politcal system.

Just look at what is going on in the news at the moment:

Expenses scandal

War in Iraq (was it legal)

Just had a budget, which I beleived helped people on benefits! (I might be
wrong, but would not be surprised)

And that is without thinking to hard.

When I have worked in the Polling Stations, the amount of times as a Presiding
Officer I would be asked wh are they what am I voting for etc, and thats if
they can speak or understand English.
