As one who has just had to give up work to care for a wife in renal failure AND
a father of 94 who needs a LOT of support at home and being paid £53 a week in
benefit for my trouble I don't see any increase in benefit on the horizon.
Incidentally £53 a week rules out any more hiring trips!
I am a Visiting Officer for a London Borough and my beef is not with people who
look after family and are the carers, hats of to them I know I could not do it.
But I am concerned with the fraud element to which I have a good success rate
of finding and the ones having kids with no means of income other than benefits.
When you see it day in and day out, you realise how bad it is and how the
goverment are making it easier for them to commit fraud.
Have noticed it is Child care being increased.
