Thanks guys but the big problem about using rubber mats and continuous sheets 
such as those in the link are that the paint underneath suffers with 
micro-blistering and will deteriorate faster than otherwise. The advantage of 
the tiles is that they stand up on little projections that allow air 
circulation and decent drainage. They are available in the US for a fraction of 
the price we pay here but there's nothing new there then.
