Before you start replacing bits, have you checked that it is not an electrical 
problem.  Some types of battery isolating switches degrade and begin to 
restrict the current intermittently, either at high or low temperature.  It is 
worth shorting this switch out and seeing whether the problem persists.  It 
could also be the electrical connection in the solenoid, or an earthing 
connection dropping the volts so that the current is not sufficient for proper 
operation.
