I think you've got that slightly mixed up. Maesbury is on the attached restored 
length of the Mont - it's navigable from Frankton via Queens Head, Aston Locks 
and Maesbury to Gronwen Bridge (and hopefully in the not-too-distant future 
will be open to Crickheath Wharf).

The detached section is navigable from Ardleen (or Ardd-lin) via Burgedin, Pool 
Quay, Welshpool and Berriew to Refail. There used to be a hireboat on it, but 
it was removed a few years ago.
