Whitehouse Tunnel was the bad one for Bream - my three return passages last year were timed at 15-18 mins upstream, 2-3 downstream. Getting off and pulling made little difference, about a minute or so. Concur with positive comments about the Mont, and barring the exit from the last lock before Maesbury I had no depth problems. If you are in exploring mode, the Carreghofa and Vyrnwy Aqueduct area is canal heaven as far as I'm concerned and I hope to be around long enough to take a boat through there. Steve NB Bream
