Hi Peter, As mentioned somewhere else, the offer stands to bring them into `capistrano/_______` at Github, and to give them a stronger place in the documentation and to link them from http://www.capistranorb.com/
I think it's great for everyone if we have some semi-official extensions (even for things which we Ruby guys don't often use!) and to have a canonical place to get a list of things which we know work well together. Of course input from all sides about changes we could make to improve the compatibility and portability of Cap 3 are always welcome, but especially from popular Gems :) Yours, Lee Hambley -- http://lee.hambley.name/ +49 (0) 170 298 5667 On 13 November 2013 20:21, Peter Mitchell <[email protected]> wrote: > I am currently working on the rewrite of a Capistrano v2 extension ( > https://github.com/everzet/capifony) for Symfony 2 (a PHP framework) and > out of that it is apparent there are some generic actions that would be > useful to have as standalone extensions. > > Copying files between releases (speed up dependency install runs) > https://github.com/peterjmit/capistrano-copy-files > > Fixing file permissions (for files generated by distinct users, both > needing r/w permissions) > https://github.com/peterjmit/capistrano-file-permissions > > And an extension for the laravel framework > https://github.com/peterjmit/capistrano-laravel > > I am by no means a ruby developer so firstly it would be nice to get some > contributions incase I am doing anything wrong. > > Secondly it would be good to get a bit more visibility/contributions for > these so if any/all could become part of the capistrano organisation that > would be good. > > -- > -- > * You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google > Groups "Capistrano" group. > * To post to this group, send email to [email protected] > * To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected] For more options, visit this > group at http://groups.google.com/group/capistrano?hl=en > --- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Capistrano" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to [email protected]. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/groups/opt_out. > -- -- * You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Capistrano" group. * To post to this group, send email to [email protected] * To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/capistrano?hl=en --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Capistrano" group.
