Yes, you are correct. One can indeed go to the "person search" page from the appointment list when there is at least one appointment shown. If you are suggesting that this link should be also available even on empty appointments list, then I agree with you. I will try to include it in the next releases. Of course, you can start implementing it now. You need to hack the /modules/appointment_scheduler/appt_show.php. Just find the line where the flag is being queried whether the list is empty or not. Well, the "Add new appointment" link on the appointment list page is just a plain link to the person search page. The search page does not really know where the user came from and what exactly his intention is (other than searching). If we will implement a much more automatic procedure (to lessen the number of mouse clicks), we need to hack the code to make the search page aware of the user's origin and intention so that search can automatically proceed to the appointment input page.
