Hello all I don't know if it is of relevance, but I will just say it anyway ... an alternative to a pure applet solution might be an applciation started over Java webstart. If there is a good open source DICOM viewer written in Java it should not be difficult to package it as webstart applciation so that it can be started directly from within care2x instead if installing .... having said that, I whould add that users of Windows will still need to install the original Java JRE as a webstart is not included (to my knowledge) in the MS Java that is shipped with Windows.
did someone integrate care2x with a DICOM (PACS) server, where DICOM images are stored in the PACS, but care2x serves as RIS to find and access the images? best greetings Kurt On 03.09.2006, at 23:25, Kaloyan Raev wrote: > Hello Oliver, Joaquin > > I have checked the links you gave me. > > Pixelmed is good, but the GUI is desktop application and not an > applet. > For applet version they refer to Nagoya's applet dicom viewer that is > already integrated in Care2x.
