i am looking into implementing a version of care2x at several hospitals in
Trinidad and Tobago and require a version of Care2x that will allow us to do
so based on our workflow.
Patients may be registered at any of he clinics or in central registration
or in Emmergency. the patient number must be an input capable field so as to

*There is way to do this , all you have to do is create an extra table in
the care2x database that links the OLD records numbers to the care2x ones.
New patients however can be directly regsitered into the system.*
patients must be able to make appointments and receive a printed reminder
notice of the appointment. Cliinc staff must be able to print on demand
daily or monthly reports showing list of appointments by date, by doctors
etc.

on demend reports may be printed showing appointments kept or cancelled
etc.
if a patient is admitted to a clinic or emmergency, several forms must be
printed which will allow medical doctors, nurses etc to enter patient info
which may then be entered into the medical records database directly or in
batch at a later time by clerks.
*Why do you want to double the work..print ..fill in and then reneter into
the database ?*
*Can the data be entered directly into the online forms which can then be
automatically saved into the database ?.*
doctors may request lab test etc and have results directed back to the
originating doctor.
*This is already available !. The test results are available for anyone with
user rights. *
*The requesting doctor can also see this through his/her login.*
the patient profile should exclude such fields that are north american in
nature example zip codes etc.
The registration screen should include:
Name, address, city, date of birth if known else age, mothers maiden name,
next of kin, realtionship, marital status should have an option for other,
if blood type is entered incorrectly and not known a remove option should be
available,
*Since the code is available to you, you can get the registration page
reworked as you want.*
*You can just mask the items that you dont want , but let it remain in the
database , incase later on you decide to use zip codes it would be useful.*
a billing module would be nice to have which will allow billing to other
health insurance programs.
*Please check out the Ecom billing module that is available on the care2x
website.*
if there is a stable version that is available, i would be most grateful to
have a lok at it .
*Care2x is very stable !!*
*You can start using it straight away.*
*PLease beware of vendors who approach you saying they can offer you
customised version ( suppossedly more stable ) , you will end up spending a
lot of money for nothing in return !!.*
this is a major undertaking and i am looking forward to hearing from
anyone who can be of assistance.
