hi Muthu, admin cannot be connected with departments . try creating a new user then creating a admission role for it and assign and then connecting the user with some department.
news are "zone specific", that means user created by the admin in the Lab zone can be viewed only in the lab zone, ecc sometime in the future we should replace the news module. the one with c2x is too primitive regards gj.
