Hello Caret Users,

I am trying to map a volume set of ROIs to a surface. The surface is from the
spec file Mouse.map015.Cerebral.L(R).16180.spec (I was using the GUI to map to
both sides). However, when the paint file is created the ROIs on the medial
surface of each hemisphere are distorted and many cortical areas seem to have
mapped to slightly the wrong surface "space." The areas I have are mostly
cortical structures, although some (e.g. nucleus accumbens) are deep to some of
the more surface ROIs. The volume I have is already mapped to the same
coordinate space as the Caret surface, so I wasn't expecting errors.

I also tried the command line function (caret_command -volume-map-to-surface),
but in this case I'm not familiar enough with the command to get it to work
correctly (looked at the help call for the function and looked at old posts -
did see one about order for the algorithm input, but still seemed to error out
after following that post) - as I constantly get the error message "invalid
algorithm name" or "algorithm missing" even though they are put onto the
command line. I would appreciate any ideas that others may have.

Thank you,
Ben
