Under certain circumstances, the users validate request is taking considerable time to make it back to SSO. Sometimes up to 3minutes.
Can you say more about this? I can't imagine network latency alone accounting for such an astronomically high latency. My first impression is to suggest you analyze and treat the latency issue instead of hacking the symptom of ST expiration.
Any ideas please? I saw CAS comes with POST option, but in the code I see it only posts to a page within CAS Web app. This is acceptable to my application flow.
Assuming POST would incur the same latency as a GET, which seems reasonable, then it won't be any help. I can't imagine any alternative other than simply increasing the validity period for all service tickets to the worst-case value.
