I don't know the exact spec off hand, but I am completely confident that the machines are of insane spec, both CPU and RAM. And I will not be looking into that as a performance issue.
I've not chosen to back with a distributed hash map..eg EHCache or JGroups. I have a DB2 backded ticket registry with a spring jdbctemplte layer. So I'm running a profiler on that first. After that I'm looking into the Big IP's configuration. And also looking into the actual WebLoad agenda scripts that have been created for me.
