You'll need this:
http://developer.ja-sig.org/maven2/org/jasig/cas/cas-server-support-ldap/3.2.1/cas-server-support-ldap-3.2.1.jar

That was the one mentioned by Martin. Right that's gone into the lib directory

As well as:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=73357&package_id=202038&release_id=560004

The spring-ldap-*1.2.1.jar files (and dependencies) are already present in the lib folder which is what those zip files seem to contain.

We package our handlers as separate jars so that you only need to include
the ones that you need. You'll also need to include the Spring LDAP jars
since you're building this manually.

Anyway, I've add the cas ldap support jar and my CAS server now does start!

Thanks for all the help. Now to see if I have got it correctly hooked up to LDAP.

Cheers
