Hello,
what is the status of the casper_library and support for Xilinx 9.x
(or even 10.x) series?
Today I downloaded the newest casper_library inside
http://casper.berkeley.edu/software/mlib_devel_8_2.tar.gz
I tried to test for example the pfb_fir_real and see if that FIR really
works with the 1:4 iADC demux and a full-band (not 1/4th bandlimited)
input signal.
However, Matlab/Simulink 7.3 with ISE 9.1 complains that parts of the
model are out of date and e.g. PFB 'first_tap', 'tap' etc are using
deprecated blocks. These are especially Xilinx Multipliers.
Of course xlUpdateModel of the design and even the casper_library.mdl do
not help. Actually the library update even generates lots of segfaults in
the Matlab command window. Sometimes the entire Matlab crashes.
I've started to convert the Casper library to ISE 9.1. But not to do the
same job twice -- is there any updated Roach version of the Casper
libraries available yet?
