Hi all,

The interchip busses on the BEE2 should be used with caution. The lines are
wave-pipelined, and are routed in bundles that are not consistent throughout
the board, or even within the same bus. You may have to play with different
sending and capture phases on the different lines to get more reliable
results.

Unfortunately, nobody has ever tried it enough to document which bits of
which lines need which phases.

I would recommend, as Mel suggested, that XAUI links be used if possible.

 Don't forget the effort we put in to deliver clean external clocks to
 Beamformer's BEE2s.  This scheme is an upgrade to the prototype scheme
 I got from the BWRC folks.

Randy and Jason also designed a clock driver modification to allow the
ibob to cleanly drive the bee2 clock input.  It sort-of works if you just
connect the ibob output to the bee2 input, but not reliably.  With the
clock mod, they were able to stream simple one-path data (a counter value)
from an ibob, through the bee, and back to the ibob successfully and
continuously.
