Hi Laura and Henry:
I had the same experience as Laura.
At the beginning, i had to click the "+" of the casper library even it
can't show all the lists. Without that click, some of the blocks didn't
work. Then i had to remove the "cram" block by GAVRT library , added a
new one.
With the help from David, i had 2 models can't be simulated and compiled
, those i ported from 7.1.
cheers

Hi everyone,
Is anyone using the 10.1 tools to design for an iBOB? If so, have you been
successful?
Right now I'm trying to build a standard spectrometer model and am having a
number of problems in both simulation and hardware with the green DSP
blocks. When simulating I frequently have to delete and replace a green
block. Also, as soon as I make any modifications to the mask parameters, the
link to the library will break.
As far as I can tell the yellow blocks seem fine.
Thanks,
Laura

Hi Laura,
Are you loading the casper library in Simulink (clicking on the [+] next
to the blockset listing) before trying to simulate/compile?
Are the links actually breaking, or are they just disabling (greying
out)?
Thanks,
Henry

Yes, I have to. Otherwise some blocks (power, snaps, etc) don't load with
model.

I'm not sure what you mean by graying out.
Say I look under the FFT block. At the top of the window it says "Disabled
Link:model_name/fft". If I right click and choose "Restore Link", the block
will redraw itself to the default, but as soon as I change the parameters,
the link returns to disabled. I don't know if it's the source of my
problems, but I'm pretty sure this doesn't happen in 7.1.
Thanks,
Henry
