Good news: I have successfully tested an IBOB sending data to a ROACH
over XAUI. The IBOB was using the Xilinx XAUI controller and the ROACH
was using Dave's opensource KATXAUI controller. It worked first-time
as expected.
It looks like we're another step closer towards PAPER's Australia
deployment goal of a packetised correlator constructed from IBOB F
engines and ROACH X engines.
This test was done using short 1m cables. I will endeavour to test the
arrangement with longer cables at a later date.
