sounds like a good plan.
we've had good luck with chelsio NIC's connected to
roach, ibob and bee2's and 10Gbe switches,
although i'm not sure if we've tested this particular model.
you might want to make sure that chelsio has the drivers you
need to support the operating system you've chosen.

because roach I, ibob, bee2 all use CX4 connectors, not SFP+.
roach II will support SFP+ connectors, - it will also support CX4
and 10GbaseT connectors, because the 10Gbe/infiniband PHY's will be on
a mezzanine board, and hopefully the casper communitity will generate
several mezzanine boards with different connectors and protocols.

it should be right next to the CX4 connector.
or you could call or email myricom and ask them
if their cards supply DC power through the connector.

No, these are pcie Myricom NIC's, some of them just purchased in
September.
Shilpa told me the optical converters don't work with the Fujitsu
xg-700
either. Just with the Bee2. Odd.
