Hi Rick,
Thanks a lot for the information. I read before about your test in the
CASPER Memos 33 and 34. I also saw the adc_mkid yellow-block in the
libraries. All this is very useful!
I am going to try first using 8bits dynamic range, and see if it is
enough. But I will be contacting you later, I am very interested in the
14bits/550Msps option.
Thanks again,

Hi Luis,
I designed the ADC2x550-12 and have built a bunch of them- I don't
think anybody else has built any. The same board can be populated
with the 400MSPS 14-bit part to make an ADC2x400-14. I attach a test
report. I could build some for you if you want.

Hi all,
I am looking for a dual channel (single pixel, dual pol antenna) 8
bits iADC, and my options are the ADC2x1000-8 (v1.1, 2x1Gsps) and the
KatADC (2x1.5Gsps). The bandwidth is more than enough for my
application (radar, <=50MHz bandwidth). But, I am considering ~Gsps
sampling rate in order to use this system in other applications (e.g.
spectrometer).
I wonder if someone has experience comparing these iADCs in terms of
performance and/or programmability (almost the same, I think...). For
now, the KatADC is my best choice; the RF front-end offers a lot of
flexibility. But I would like to know if this iADC has any issues.
Finally, any comment about the ADC2x550-12 (2x550Msps, 12bits) or
ADC2x400-14 (2x400 Msps, 14bits). The wiki does not have much
information about these boards.
Thanks,
