Hey Guys,

I've recently started using and setting up the ROACH boards for my professor.
We have 5 boards, 3 of which work fine, and two with problems connecting over
Ethernet. On one board, every couple of seconds I get alternating messages:

eth0: link is up, 1000 FDX, pause enabled
eth0: link is down

Also the leds D6 and D7 alternate between on and off when with the messages so
they are on after the eth0: link is up, 1000 FDX, pause enabled message and off
on the other message.

On the other board, the network never gets a an ip address from the router's
dhcp and just shows the following every time:

Listening on LPF/eth0/02:00:00:04:03:05
Sending on LPF/eth0/02:00:00:04:03:05
Sending on Socket/fallback
DHCPREQUEST on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67
DHCPREQUEST on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67
DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 8
DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 16
DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 11
DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 17
DHCPDISCOVER on eth0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 9
No DHCPOFFERS received.

Then the message emac0: RX disable timeout appears.

I do not believe it to be a linux problem as I get the same results even if use
a SD card from a good ROACH and put it in one of these two machines I get the
same results. I have tried changing between static and dhcp network
configurations in the /etc/network/interfaces file. Any help would be welcomed
and appreciated.
