I was recently doing a close reading of
'mlib_devel/xps_library/gen_xps_files.m'
and I found this on line 236
if ~(strcmp(get_param(xps_blks(n), 'tag'), 'xps:xsg') ||
strcmp(get_param(xps_blks(n), 'tag'), 'xps:pcore')),
try
% yadda, yadda
catch ex
% blah, blah
end
end
Staring at that predicate made me think. If a tag doesn't match
'xps:xsg', then we certainly don't need to check if it matches
'xps:pcore'. Any tag that matches 'xps:pcore' ipso facto doesn't match
'xps:xsg'. So a little micro-optimization is possible here, but that's
not really my concern.
What bothers me is that I can't guess what the real intention of the
author might be.
