Thank you, James, for your reply. I have tried ROACH2v2, and the programmer working with me had some issues porting their ROACH1 design to ROACH2. However, it looks like ROACH2 would be the way to go, and that the ADC16x250-8 is usable only with ROACH2 currently.
In this context, may I ask if there is someone who has experience setting up ADC16x250-8 with ROACH2, with 4 or 8 inputs? Also, can a single ROACH2v2 board have two of these ADCs? Also, I think it would be worthwhile starting with a smaller version of an interferometer, say a 4-element, 250 MHz bandwidth version. Is there any chance I might be able to borrow a ROACH1 for about 3 months, if anyone has an old board they aren't using anymore?
