Hi David,

Since you are new to CASPER, I would recommend following the instructions
located here: https://casper-toolflow.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html,
as we recently attempted to update all documentation for new users. There
are also updated Tutorials located in this documentation, but here is the
direct link: Tutorials <https://casper-tutorials.readthedocs.io/en/latest/>

I have seen this exact error before when running Vivado 2017.2 and Matlab
R2016b. In short, my solution was installing Vivado 2016.4 instead as this
is the recommended Vivado version for SNAP. (Which can be seen in the setup
table here
<https://casper-toolflow.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html#setup>) I also
imagine you might need to install Matlab R2016b instead, but I would
attempt to use R2017b first and maybe let us know if it works without
issue... :)

Please feel free to reach out with anymore questions you might have.
Feedback is also welcomed about the new documentation or if you should find
any errors.

Cheers,
Brian Bradford
