Thanks for the link. ADI's AD9207 page just links this as a development FMC
ADC --

-- which is a similar but different part. Even so, that might be a
direction that prototyping goes.

As for the RFSoC tradeoff -- potentially we can do things cheaper with a
discrete ADC/FPGA combo, depending on the cost of parts and how many ADCs
per FPGA we can do. The DSP/memory resources per analog channel is also
likely to be quite a bit higher, which might be important. Also the RFSoC
only really makes cost-effective sense for applications where we can
digitize multiple analog streams in a single location. For digitizing at
the feed, with a pair (dual-pol) of analog inputs, probably something else
is better suited.
