Contributing to Michaels VM. I also have an Ubuntu VM that I run on a Macbook Pro that works well with a ROACH2. With my VM I don’t have to setup anything special, I just run my VM and it works. A few years back I was in the same predicament as you and learned my way around the casper stuff. I hope it helps.
